SystemsAccountants is partnering with a global organisation to recruit a hands‑on HFM Administrator to support and enhance their financial consolidation and reporting landscape. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HFM specialist to take ownership of a complex, multinational environment and play a key role in improving consolidation, reporting, and integration processes.

The role sits within the Global consolidation function and will work closely with regional teams across Europe and the US. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and developing HFM v11.2, supporting SAP–HFM integration, and driving improvements across a large‑scale consolidation process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain the HFM application, including metadata, rules, security, and data loads.
  • Manage integration between SAP GL and HFM, including mapping, master data alignment, and troubleshooting.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles across global reporting sites.
  • Validate and reconcile data between SAP and HFM to ensure accuracy and reporting integrity.
  • Develop custom reports using SmartView, HFM, and Workiva for internal and external reporting.
  • Maintain and enhance complex cashflow logic and forecasting processes within HFM.
  • Support and improve flat‑file submissions from global sites.
  • Provide training and support to finance users and regional teams.
  • Work with IT and external partners on upgrades, patches, and system enhancements.
  • Drive process improvements across consolidation, reporting, and intercompany workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and SOX.

Skills & Experience

  • 10 years + experience administering Oracle HFM, ideally in a multinational environment.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, consolidations, and intercompany eliminations.
  • Hands‑on experience with:
  • SAP FI/CO or BW
  • FDMEE and SmartView
  • Data forms and custom report development
  • HFM metadata and rules files
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with global stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience with scripting (VBScript, SQL) for automation.
  • Experience working in a shared service or regional finance center.
