Higher Education Enrollment Consultants/Interim Registrar

CampusWorks is looking for Registrar Consultants to assist higher education clients in strengthening their registration operations and enhancing the student experience. The role may be remote or onsite and can include serving as an interim Registrar, leading a Business Process Review project, or optimizing a registration system. Opportunities are available as full‑time or contract (1099) positions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Interim Registrar, providing day‑to‑day leadership of registration department staff.
  • Provide oversight, direction, guidance, and coordination of current registration projects and priorities.
  • Assess the efficiency of the registrar department.
  • Provide registration consulting to higher education clients on a variety of student services topics and challenges.
  • Design and deliver training.
  • Assist clients in aligning policy, process, procedures, and personnel to effectively leverage registration solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to streamline operations and ensure compliance and full utilization of registration ERP functionality.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a college or university Registrar.
  • Experience with a higher education ERP software (e.g., Ellucian Colleague, Banner, Jenzabar, Workday), including hands‑on experience with registration functionality and the ability to train end users.
  • Experience assessing registrar operations and making recommendations for process improvement, including reviewing and recommending policy changes, staffing and organizational alignment, and realignment of roles and responsibilities.
  • Solid leadership skills, including facilitation of diverse groups, consensus building, and preparing organizations and individuals for change and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated superior communication skills and a consultative approach to end clients.
  • Strong understanding of the business processes associated with the student lifecycle, including registration and academic records, and working knowledge of recruitment, admissions, advising, program evaluation, curriculum, scheduling, analytics, and reporting.
