Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Android Automotive HMI Lead Engineer / Software Architect – Automotive for an urgent project in Germany.

Location: Cologne, Germany

Contract: Freelance Contract

Experience: 10+ years

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

Lead development and integration of Android Automotive HMI / IVI solutions
Develop and integrate high-quality Android UI/HMI solutions for vehicle programs
Collaborate with global engineering teams, architects, designers, and product owners
Act as a bilingual, customer-facing technical engineer
Analyze and troubleshoot software integration and build issues
Perform root cause analysis and critical bug fixing
Reproduce vehicle/bench issues and provide detailed technical findings
Coordinate with offshore development teams and provide technical/project updates
Identify risks, dependencies, and resolution plans
