The goal is to make our products meet the requirement of our customers and markets in EU, as well as to forge strong relationships with partners.

Wey Automobile Deutschland GmbH is the front of the GWM group in Europe, which is not only supporting WEY but also other brands to launch successfully in the new and most challenging contingentin the automobile world.

Responsibilities

• 1. Responsible for the technical and project support of vehicle homologation,， insurance rating and type-approval in EU;
• 2. Interpretate vehicle technical regulations and evaluations to ensure the compliance, e.g. E-NCAP ,REACH, etc. ;
• 3. Work with internal regulation & approval department and external partners (e.g. third parties) as well as regulatory units to push forwards the projects;
• 4. Participate in design reviews and release of approvals to assure the meeting of EU technical requirements and standards;
• 5. Plan and Implement all tests required on vehicle level and subsystem level for all EU and related markets;
• 6. Monitor technical changes of regulations and standards, then coordinate the corresponding internal communication.

Requirements

• 1. Bachelor degree or above, in engineering or other relevant areas;
• 2. At least 5 years’ experience of automotive homologation as direct EU type approval activity related role;
• 3. Comprehensive knowledge of EU automotive regulatory process, being very familiar with vehicle technical regulation interpretation and giving legal recommendations;
• 4. Fluently speaking English, German and Chinese skills preferred;
• 5. Positive attitude, resolute and high drive for results;
• 6. Flexible regarding travels in EU and to China in order to collaborate with other developments and for project progress.
