Mainframe Firmware Development

What you'll do

• Contribute to the design and implementation of firmware for mainframe systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Engage in troubleshooting and debugging processes to resolve firmware issues.
• Participate in the development of new features and improvements for existing firmware solutions.

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in firmware development or a similar role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C and assembly language.
• Familiarity with mainframe architecture and related technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of hardware design and testing processes.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.

Skills & tools

• C, assembly language, and other relevant programming languages.
• Mainframe systems and architecture knowledge.
• Debugging tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
