Overview

As an HR Partner for the Product Portfolio & Innovation organization, you enable an excellent employee experience in Germany while aligning local HR practices with global standards. You will collaborate with leaders, employees, and global HR teams to drive compliant, effective people processes and strategic workforce changes. The role combines operational HR delivery with proactive business support in a cross‑functional, international setting. You’ll help shape organizational design, performance, and employee relations at scale in a mission‑driven biotech environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Provide day-to-day HR guidance to managers and staff with fair, consistent policy application
Support organizational changes in Germany, including restructures and workforce adjustments per local requirements
Act as local HR interface for global P&I initiatives impacting Germany
Collaborate with Head of HR DACH on Workers Council topics, including documentation and consultations
Contribute to employee lifecycle management (onboarding, performance processes, employee relations)
Advise on absence management, parental leave, and other employee matters
Partner with HR Shared Services and payroll to ensure smooth HR operations

Zentrale Anforderungen

Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
Proven HR partner experience in international/matrix organizations
Strong knowledge of German employment law and co-determination, including Workers Council experience
Experience advising on organizational design, performance management, and employee relations
Strong German and English communication skills; additional languages are a plus
Hands-on, proactive mindset balancing corporate frameworks with local solutions
Experience with Workday or similar HR systems (advantage)
