HSE Coordinator (m/f/d) - Data Centre Construction

Overview

As an HSE Coordinator in our Data Centre team in Frankfurt, you will support the on-site safety plan and help foster a proactive safety culture. You will work with clients, contractors and project teams to ensure compliance and continuous improvement on high-profile, large-scale projects. You will drive risk awareness, incident investigations, and HSE documentation in alignment with local regulations and the Turner & Townsend Safety Programme. This role offers exposure to strategic commissions and impactful projects within a global professional services environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of the project EHS Plan on site
  • Promote a positive safety culture among project teams, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Participate in site safety meetings with Client and Trade Contractors
  • Assist with review and coordination of contractor safety documentation (risk assessments and method statements)
  • Monitor high-risk activities and report observations and improvement opportunities
  • Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits for client and local requirements
  • Support safety campaigns, initiatives, and continuous improvement activities
  • Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and tracking of corrective actions
  • Provide day-to-day HSE guidance to project teams and contractors
  • Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and project documentation
  • Ensure compliance with Client safety requirements and local legislation
  • Support delivery of the Turner & Townsend Safety Programme and promote best practices on site
  • Escalate safety concerns and non-conformances to project and HSE leadership teams
Zentrale Anforderungen
  • 3-5+ years' experience in a construction HSE role in large-scale projects
  • Good understanding of construction safety requirements, risk assessments, keep-to-work (permit-to-work) systems, and HSE compliance processes
  • Experience supporting site inspections, audits, incident investigations, and corrective action tracking
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with local health and safety legislation and industry best practices
  • Well-organized with coordination and administrative skills in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to build positive on-site relationships and promote safety culture
  • Proactive team player with willingness to learn and develop
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools
  • Fluent English; German is a plus; availability for on-site work
