About this Position

We are seeking an HR professional with both strategic vision and strong operational expertise. In this role, you will deeply participate in all aspects of human resources management for the institute in Germany, from supporting the establishment and development of cutting‑edge research teams to ensuring compliant and efficient localized operations. This is a key management support position where HR professional practices are closely integrated with frontier technology business in a fast‑growing international research platform, enabling you to make a meaningful impact.

Job Responsibilities

Strategic Support & Organizational Culture Development: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the institute’s business objectives; participate in organizational structure optimization and change management initiatives; build and maintain a positive, inclusive, and efficient multicultural Chinese‑German working environment to enhance team cohesion.
Executive Talent Acquisition Support: Execute global recruitment strategies for top‑tier scientific and technical talent; participate in talent sourcing, assessment, and hiring processes for key positions; maintain talent pipelines and partnerships with leading universities and research institutions worldwide.
Talent Development & Performance Management: Implement performance management systems tailored to research environments; participate in succession planning, key talent development, and retention initiatives; organize and promote employee development and training programs.
Compensation, Benefits & Employee Relations Operations: Support the implementation of internationally competitive compensation and benefits systems and participate in market benchmarking; ensure HR practices comply with German labor laws and regulations; manage employee relations and serve as a communication bridge between management and employees.
HR Operations & Team Collaboration: Handle daily HR operations, including personnel administration, contract management, visa support, and onboarding processes; participate in HR information system management and optimization; prepare and manage HR budgets.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience: Master’s degree or above, preferably in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Law, or related fields; 3–5+ years of HR‑related experience, including experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager in Germany or Europe; hands‑on experience leading or deeply participating in multiple HR functions; strong understanding of German labor laws and social security systems; experience in research institutes, high‑tech companies, or multinational organizations in Germany or Europe is highly preferred.
Professional Knowledge & Skills: Strong expertise across multiple HR functions in Germany, including recruitment, compensation & benefits, and employee relations; proven experience supporting research or technical teams; excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) are required, with German language proficiency preferred; strong analytical, judgment, and problem‑solving capabilities, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable HR solutions.
