Job Summary

Christian Dior Couture seeks a Human Resources Manager in Retail to oversee the full 360 HR cycle for Germany and Austria within the Central Europe & Eastern Europe Region. The role is based in our Head Office in Munich, with a minimum of 50 % travel across the decentralized region.

Responsibilities

Talent Experience & Talent Development

  • Know our talents and develop succession planning
  • Coach managers on defining Individual Development Plans
  • Mobility in and out; coach and accompany employees on mobility
  • Proactive planning of missions
  • Proactively drive internal performance reviews
  • Develop the Organization Management Review
  • Streamline initiatives for talent experience
  • Work closely with the training department
  • Strong collaboration with Retail Head and other stakeholders

Candidate Experience & Attraction

  • Foster an exceptional candidate experience
  • Review employer branding strategy and recruiting agency landscape
  • Proactively source and recruit talents
  • Partner with management and training teams on onboarding programs
  • Focus on and target future retailers
  • Campus management

HR Operations & C&B

  • Responsible for all monthly reporting requirements
  • Ensure HR procedures are legally compliant and align with internal audit requirements
  • Ensure precise and timely execution of HR operations and prepare and follow up on budget
  • Conduct compensation review campaigns
  • Prepare candidate packages in collaboration with C&B
  • Deputize for payroll when required to ensure smooth delivery of payroll processes
  • Review benefit landscape and communicate about it

Structure, Process & Transversal Projects

  • Continue to strengthen boutique structures
  • Lead and participate in transversal HR & retail projects
  • Test new methodologies
  • Take proactive approach to CSR activities
  • Ensure compliance on HR-related health & safety topics

Qualifications

  • Experience in retail and/or hospitality
  • Master’s degree in business, HR or related field; minimum 10 years in a generalist HR retail position
  • Strong interpersonal skills, generous and curious, agile and results-oriented in a rapidly changing environment
  • Proactive, pragmatic, solutions-oriented, and strong organizational skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects independentlyExcellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Goal-oriented with a strong drive for results and high hands‑on mentality
  • Fluent in German and English essential
