HVAC Project Engineer – Offshore Wind

• Design and develop HVAC systems for offshore converter platforms, ensuring compliance with applicable safety, environmental and industry standards.
• Perform thermal load calculations, HVAC sizing, feasibility studies and system simulations.
• Select HVAC equipment and materials suitable for harsh offshore environments, with a strong focus on corrosion protection, reliability and maintainability.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate HVAC systems into the overall platform design.
• Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, calculations, drawings and commissioning documentation.
• Support commissioning, testing and technical troubleshooting both remotely and on-site when required.
• Ensure HVAC solutions are energy-efficient, reliable and easy to maintain throughout the platform's operational life.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable discipline.
• At least 5 years of HVAC engineering experience, including proven experience on offshore converter platform projects.
• Experience with offshore renewable energy projects is essential. Please note that experience gained exclusively within the oil & gas sector is not considered a suitable match for this position.
• Strong knowledge of offshore HVAC design, thermal calculations and system integration.
• Familiarity with relevant standards such as DNV, NORSOK, ISO and ASHRAE.
• Experience with HVAC design software and 3D modelling tools.
• Excellent English communication skills; German is considered an advantage.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
