Blaker & Granet LLP (B&G), an LGBTQ+- and woman‑owned immigration law firm in Century City, L.A., is looking for an Associate Attorney with 4+ years of business immigration experience to join their friendly and hardworking firm.

This is a role for an attorney who takes immense pride in their work and thrives on being the person others rely on. This isn’t a forms‑and‑files role. You will own the full lifecycle of cases from inception to filing to client communications, initially under the supervision of B&G partners, but eventually autonomously.

• You own your outcomes: You don’t wait for a nudge; you see a need and fill it.
• You crave growth: This is not an entry‑level role and not a “train‑on‑the‑job” position. While the partners are happy to provide mentorship, you must already have a strong foundational understanding of standard work visa categories, and must be ready to handle the responsibility that comes with growth, including drafting, compiling, and managing immigration cases and clients.

Here’s the important info about the role:

• Salary Range : $120K/year to $160K/year, depending on experience and demonstrated value. 15% origination bonus for work brought in and serviced during tenure.
• Work Location : Hybrid role, 3 days in‑office per week in a casual, dog‑friendly Century City office. Parking provided. B&G strongly prefers candidates who can work 3 days in‑office per week but is open to remote opportunities for the right candidate.
• Benefits : Health, vision, and dental insurance, 401(k) with matching employer amounts, PTO, and sick leave. Also: free breakfast, coffee, snacks, monthly team lunches, and team events (B&G loves an escape room).
• Education + Bar Admission : JD from an accredited school and U.S. bar admission in good standing (any U.S. state).
• Start Date : ASAP (with the understanding that currently employed candidates will need to give notice).
• The-Day-to-Day Work : Review eligibility, analyze, draft, compile, and file NIV and IV case types including H‑1Bs, E‑2s, E‑3, TNs, J‑1s, L‑1s, O‑1s, Ps, EB‑1/2/3s (including NIWs), I‑130s, IV Consular Processing, AOS, and PERMs. Communicate daily with clients and respond to all emails and phone calls within one business day. Update case management system (BlueDot). Provide unparalleled client service to help maintain and increase the firm’s 140+ 5‑star reviews on Google.
• Preferred : Experience with Google Workspace, Adobe, and BlueDot.
