In-House Counsel - Specializing in Labor Law (f/m/d)

In this role you advise on individual and collective employment law for People Partners, managers and specialist departments, shaping collaboration with employee bodies. You support negotiations on works agreements and handle complex HR measures, restructurings, transfers and M&A projects. You represent the company in employment law proceedings and drive governance, risk management and policy development. You also contribute to international employment law matters and strategic HR initiatives, working with cross-functional teams to enable compliant, sustainable solutions.

• Advise on individual and collective employment law matters for various stakeholders
• Shape cooperation with works councils and employee bodies; support works agreements negotiations
• Support collective bargaining, conciliation and arbitration processes
• Manage complex HR measures, restructurings, operational changes, transfers of business and M&A projects
• Handle employment law proceedings; represent the company in court; coordinate external law firms
• Ensure compliance and develop governance structures, policies and documentation standards
• Identify and assess employment law risks; conduct risk assessments and implement risk controls
• Support international employment law matters and contribute to strategic HR initiatives

• Degree in Law and several years of employment law experience
• Sound knowledge of individual and collective employment law and works constitution law
• Experience working with employee representative bodies and handling negotiations
• Very good written and spoken English
• Strong communication, advisory, negotiation and assertiveness skills
• Confident, proactive, initiative-driven; able to handle complex legal and organizational issues
