Incoming Inspector - Production Quality

The Role

As an integrated element of Production Quality, the Incoming Inspector in Helsing’s Production environment is responsible for the Quality Assurance Gate on supplied goods entering our warehouse by verification of conformity, and for outbound quality aspects on customer deliverables or supplier returns in close relation with Logistic, Supply Chain and further Production-Quality functions.

The day-to-day

• Execute incoming goods inspection based on applicable specifications and secure required documentation
• Maintain and process reporting of non-conform material including conform handling and marking
• Contribute to and drive root cause corrective action and improvement activities
• Oversight and control of blocked or quarantined material in your area, including scrap control
• Ensure process compliance with internal QMS, EN9100 and other applicable standards

You Should Apply If You

• Have a professional education in electronics, mechanics or mechatronics with a minimum of 3 years of quality assurance experience in electronics (machinery or plant engineering, automotive); experience in warehouse inbound QA is an advantage
• Have applied and proven experience with inspection methods by visual means or with standard test/measurement equipment, and can read, understand, and apply technical documents (engineering drawings/inspection procedures)
• Have experience maintaining IT software applications such as MS Office; QA software or SAP experience is an advantage
• Can work independently or in a team, is able to assert oneself and respect other positions
• Maintain a process-oriented attitude and mindset with flexibility and creativity to achieve given goals
• Have good communication skills in English; German is an advantage
• Are flexible to work in shift
