Overview
As an Industrial Cybersecurity Expert you will analyze requirements from regulations, standards, and customers, derive the necessary actions, and ensure fulfillment via traceability. You actively participate in defining the underlying concept and align it with affected teams.
You perform the rollout of defined cybersecurity processes and activities by training and closely collaborating with developers. You support compliance with relevant regulations and standards and help internal and external projects meet their cybersecurity requirements. When new topics arise, you step in to drive quick and effective resolutions.
Embedded in a team of cybersecurity experts, you will see cybersecurity from different angles and continuously exchange knowledge with colleagues worldwide. Your contributions will help improve the resilience of critical infrastructure and address today’s challenges.

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Performing requirements engineering: Specifying, reviewing, analyzing, and tracing cybersecurity requirements.
- Shaping a unified requirements engineering concept: Supporting the creation and alignment as well as the practical implementation of a unified and holistic concept.
- Collaborating with various teams: Working closely with and training different departments to enable cybersecurity requirements engineering.
- Implementing processes: Driving the rollout and training of cybersecurity processes and activities across the organization.
- Ensuring compliance: Fulfilling requirements from relevant regulations, standards, and best practices (e.g., IEC 62443, NERC CIP, EU Data Act, CRA).
- Performing training: Educating the organization on key aspects of requirements engineering and cybersecurity processes.
What You Bring
- Bachelor or Master degree in IT Security, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering (focus on IT Security), or a comparable qualification with extensive professional experience in OT or product security.
- Experience in performing cybersecurity requirements engineering in OT or product security, and skills in using requirements engineering tools such as Polarion, MagicDraw, or DOORS.
- Experience with defining, rolling out, and training processes in an enterprise organization.
- Familiarity with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards (e.g., IEC 62443, CRA, NERC CIP, BDEW Whitepaper, ISO 27001) and with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and iterative planning, and backlog management.
- Ability to tackle emerging issues and drive effective solutions continuously and sustainably.
- Proficiency in German and English, a strong initiative, and excellent communication abilities.
