Lead, develop, and improve the Methods team performance, skills, and potential.
Define, implement, and qualify manufacturing processes to ensure production capability, repeatability, and reproducibility, while enhancing productivity, quality, and cost‑effectiveness.
Implement rigorous quality control procedures and optimise test benches to guarantee each electronic product meets performance and reliability standards.
Propose design updates to improve production efficiency or product reliability during serial life.
Ensure assembly processes, design, and development of new manufacturing methods and procedures, and oversee their successful implementation.
Train operators and technicians on best manufacturing practices and new technologies.
Encourage innovation in production methods and technologies, including the adoption of Smart Factory concepts.
Implement new factory automation to improve quality and reduce repetitive tasks.
Identify inefficiencies and initiate continuous improvement to enhance processes, products, or services.
Monitor results to ensure improvements are effective and promote a culture of ongoing development and innovation.
Drive security, ergonomic, efficiency, and cost improvements.
Participate in digitalisation initiatives: ERP integration, KPI implementation using PowerBI, MES implementation, and Industry4.0 technologies.
Collaborate with the Director of Industrial Operations and the Director of Operational Excellence in a matrix environment.
Requirements
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical fields (mechanics, electronics, robotics, fluidics).
Minimum 10years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing methods, or industrial engineering.
Proven leadership experience with a team of engineers and technicians.
Proven track record in defining and implementing processes for technical projects involving mechanics, electronics, and/or fluidics.
Strategic thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement.
Fluent in German and English.
Willingness to work in Wenden or Olpe, Germany.
