Industry Lead PV

In this role you will steer go‑to‑market, portfolio and competitiveness strategy for the photovoltaic segment, aligning with product, sales, marketing and regional teams. You will monitor market trends, drive portfolio initiatives as EPIC owner, and shape pricing to boost competitiveness. You’ll represent the portfolio in customer interactions and events, contributing technical and commercial expertise. This position offers high impact in shaping SMA’s PV market leadership and long‑term business success.

• Develop go-to-market and competitive strategies aligned with cross‑functional stakeholders
• Monitor technology trends, business models, customer needs, competitors and regulations
• Own portfolio initiatives, drive product and feature development, design new business models
• Define strategic pricing and enhance competitiveness across the value chain
• Represent the portfolio in customer meetings and events, supporting key accounts with technical and commercial expertise

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar technical field
• Several years of experience in product or project management of technical systems
• Leadership experience in an agile environment (preferred)
• Solid understanding of portfolio/product management and financial control
• Understanding of renewable power plant market mechanisms
• Excellent German and English skills, strategic mindset, and strong decision‑making ability
