Infrastructure Engineer, Mid-Senior Level – AWS, Kubernetes

• Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure for high-availability, low-latency API services across multiple regions
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters for seamless deployments and efficient resource utilization
• Enable the engineering team to ship quickly and confidently with CI/CD
• Implement and maintain the ELK stack for logging, monitoring, and alerting
• Ensure system reliability and support quick incident response
• Implement infrastructure security practices, access controls, and compliance requirements for financial services
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement scaling solutions
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment workflows, and operational tasks

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, and VPC
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
• Proven track record building and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines or similar
• Experience with ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) or similar logging and monitoring solutions
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar infrastructure-as-code tools
• Proficient in Python, Bash, or similar scripting and automation languages
• Ability to debug complex distributed systems and solve infrastructure challenges
• Strong English skills
• German is a plus
• Experience in FinTech, SaaS platforms, or developer tools is a plus
• Knowledge of testing frameworks is a plus
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques is a plus
• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud deployment is a plus
• Basic understanding of backend technologies and APIs is a plus
• Willingness to handle on-call duty and frequent deployments
