Innopay is a consultancy firm that is part of Oliver Wyman, specialising in digital transactions since 2002. With roots in payment innovation (e.g. co‑creating iDEAL), we have expanded into digital identity and data sharing. Today, our services span the full strategic, product development and operational spectrum of our clients’ businesses. We collaborate with them on new business models, the technologies they adopt, and how they respond to local and international regulations from our offices in Amsterdam and Frankfurt.

Qualifications

• Evidence of all‑round personal development: excellent academic performance combined with international exchange programmes, internships, professional extra‑curricular activities, etc.;
• 8+ years of work experience at a top‑tier consultancy firm in digital strategy development and/or execution;
• Profound experience and in‑depth knowledge of— and strong interest in— one or more of the following topics: Open Finance, ecosystem‑based business models, data strategy and data exchange, APIs, customer journeys, product and service innovation, payment processes and technology, regulatory issues in data and payments (e.g. PSD2, GDPR);
• Proven leadership skills through the management of project teams;
• Proven track record in shaping, selling and managing consulting projects, preferably in digital payments, digital identity, data sharing, and open banking/finance;
• Commercially savvy with a relevant network in the DACH region, preferably consulting sales experience and an intrinsic motivation to develop in this area to accelerate our growth in the DACH region;
• Genuine interest in exploring digitalisation topics in depth and keen to continuously challenge yourself and others;
• Flexibility and willingness to travel;
• Fluency in German and English is a must.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager you advise our clients on digital strategy and transformation. You lead a team of 2–5 consultants from diverse backgrounds, providing sector‑specific knowledge and strategic advice that enables clients to co‑create new strategies, services and products. You translate complex commercial, operational and technical information into concrete advice, roadmaps and specifications. Beyond project and sales targets, you grow your client network, develop commercial proposals, build new propositions in our core knowledge domains, and coach junior colleagues to achieve their personal and professional goals.
