An exciting opportunity has opened for an Inside Sales / Account Manager to join an established business in Sauerlach. Acting as a key point of contact for customers and suppliers, the successful candidate will manage and develop existing accounts while also identifying and building relationships with new customers. This is a varied commercial role combining account management, customer development and internal sales, with responsibility for supporting opportunities from initial enquiry through to order.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with both existing and new customers.


• Identify, engage and onboard new customers, providing ongoing sales support.


• Prepare customer quotations and pricing proposals, ensuring appropriate margins and costs are considered.


• Follow up on quotations, sales opportunities and agreed timescales.


• Work closely with Field Sales, passing opportunities across when required.


• Maintain accurate customer, sales and opportunity information within the CRM system.


• Liaise with Test & Measurement manufacturers to obtain pricing, product information and lead times.


• Manage and monitor supplier deal registrations.


• Introduce customers to new products, technologies and manufacturer developments.


• Support marketing campaigns and manufacturer promotions to generate new opportunities.


• Build strong relationships with key contacts across customers, prospects and manufacturer partners.


• Collaborate with departments across the wider business to provide an effective customer service.


• Maintain accurate customer and prospect data and follow company processes and procedures.

Requirements

• Passion for building strong customer relationships and developing accounts (key account mindset)


• Ability to work independently and take responsibility and be accountable


• Enjoy interacting with customers every day via calls and bring strong teamwork and communication skills


• Confident use of standard MS Office applications, CRM knowledge preferred, basic maths
