Inside Sales Representative - CB3 - NM

We are currently looking for an Inside Sales Support Representative (m/f/d) to join us at our facility in Wuppertal.

The Inside Sales Support Representative is responsible for managing and developing assigned customer accounts remotely from Axalta's offices, while providing commercial and operational support to internal and external customers. The role ensures an excellent customer experience through effective account management, coordination with field sales teams, pricing administration, contract support, and accurate maintenance of commercial data and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop assigned customer accounts, primarily within the C-customer segment.
• Build strong customer relationships through regular contact via phone, email, and digital channels.
• Identify and qualify sales opportunities.
• Drive growth through upselling, cross-selling, and retention.
• Maintain accurate customer and pipeline data in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Pricing, as well as stakeholders.
• Support commercial initiatives, process improvements, and digital/e-commerce adoption.

Key requirements

• Successfully completed commercial apprenticeship or equivalent business qualification, combined with professional experience in an internal sales or sales support function.
• Experience in customer support, inside sales, sales administration, or commercial operations.
• Experience working with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce (SFDC) as well as ERP systems such as SAP is desirable.
• Experience in industrial, coatings, manufacturing, or B2B environments is an advantage.
• Successfully completed commercial apprenticeship or equivalent business qualification, combined with professional experience in an internal sales or sales support function.
• Strong customer orientation with proven relationship management capabilities as well as commercially savvy with strong sales mindset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
