Overview

In this role you install and validate KLA tools at customer sites, coordinating pre-installation activities and ensuring seamless system performance. You will work within the GSS organization to align customer requirements with installation plans, perform complex troubleshooting, and provide training and support to global customer teams. The position offers exposure to advanced optics, robotics, and metrology within a multinational high-tech environment. You will contribute to customer satisfaction and tool readiness, enabling customers to realize intended performance and outcomes.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Hold pre-installation meetings to capture customer requirements and plan actions
Install tools at customer sites and perform system testing per procedures
Execute optical alignment, wafer handler integration, camera/optics calibration, and system verifications
Troubleshoot complex issues using structured problem-solving and data analysis
Manage escalations across customers and regions
Verify tool performance with customers and ensure proper functioning
Deliver customer-focused installation training to global support teams
Maintain customer communication through pre-, during, and post-activity meetings and warranty discussions

Zentrale Anforderungen

Technical degree/diploma in engineering or equivalent
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across software, electronic, optical, mechanical systems
Experience or exposure to semiconductor tooling; travel up to 70%
Familiarity with operating systems and networking in Windows/Unix/Novell environments
Interpersonal and communication skills to understand customer needs
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
Willingness to travel internationally up to 70%
