About the Role

Our European office is seeking an experienced Institutional Equity Sales professional to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual passionate about selling both execution services and equity research while expanding their institutional equity sales business.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting and pitching to client onboarding, account management, and relationship building.
• Leverage your network to build and strengthen client relationships, driving growth and increasing Velocity’s market presence.
• Develop and execute a commercial strategy that focuses on client acquisition, retention, and promoting Velocity’s expertise and innovative investment solutions.
• Work with other business lines and global offices to enhance service offerings and client satisfaction.
• Partner with internal support teams to ensure outstanding service delivery, contributing to Velocity Trade’s global success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or a related field from an accredited university.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in institutional sales and selling equity research.
• Strong network of institutional clients across the EU, with established top-tier and middle-market relationships (DACH, BeNeLux, and/other geographies).
• Self-starter with a results-driven mindset, excelling in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of multiple asset classes is advantageous.
• Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
