Job Description

Requirements Engineering & Technical Specification

  • Manage and support integration projects throughout the full delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering to go-live
  • Gather, align and translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories
  • Define integration logic, data mappings, transformation rules, and interface specifications (APIs, XML, EDI, event-based integrations)
  • Define acceptance criteria and ensure successful delivery and go-live of integration solution

System Integration & Data Mapping

  • Design and support integration flows between logistics systems in collaboration with solution architects and development teams
  • Maintain and enhance data mappings between TMS, ERP, and external platforms
  • Ensure consistent and accurate transformation of logistics data (e.g. shipments, milestones, bookings, tracking events)
  • Align integration solutions with end-to-end freight forwarding processes across air and ocean freight, including pre- and on-carriage

Stakeholder & Domain Collaboration

  • Act as the key interface between business stakeholders, IT development teams, and external partners
  • (customers and service providers)
  • Collaborate closely with TMS domain owners, Operations, Key Account Management, and Operational Excellence teams
  • Support cross-functional alignment throughout the integration lifecycle
  • Communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions to all relevant stakeholders

Testing, Release & Operational Support

  • Support system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Coordinate testing activities with business and technical teams
  • Support incident resolution and production issue handling (2nd level support where required)
  • Ensure smooth transition of integrations into operational environments · Support release readiness and go-live coordination for integration project

Candidate's Profile

  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in integration management, IT delivery, or project management within freight forwarding or logistics environments
  • Good understanding of end-to-end freight forwarding processes across air and ocean freight, including pre-and on-carriage activities
  • Hands-on experience in Transport Management System (TMS)
  • Solid knowledge of system integration concepts (APIs, XML, EDI, event-based architectures) and data-driven process flows. Postman experience is a strong plus
  • Experience in translating business requirements into technical specifications, data mappings, and development-ready user stories
  • Ability to manage and coordinate integration delivery initiatives end-to-end
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across business, IT, and external partners
  • Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Eager to learn, take ownership, and drive initiatives forward
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication skills in cross-functional and international environments, engaging with stakeholders at all levels
  • Fluent in English; German is a strong plus
