Interim Director of Finance, Governance and Corporate Services

Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity to review the finance, governance, compliance and procurement of a dynamic private limited company, which is closely aligned to the economic goals of Oxfordshire County Council. This is an initial 3 month contract. Salary up to £95k FTE DOE. 3-4 days per week (note that our client currently operates a 30 hour week). Remote working with some in-person meetings in Oxfordshire. Responsibilities

• Review finance and governance arrangements
• Stabilise statutory and compliance responsibilities
• Review procurement activity and make recommendations for future activity
• Develop recommendations on structure, systems and resourcing
• Borrowing knowledge would be helpful
• Support transition planning through Local Government Reorganisation
• Prepare handover or extension plan
