Interim Group Financial Controller/Head of Controlling - AR113372

We are supporting a multi-billion-euro, PE-backed international group with the appointment of an experienced Interim Group Financial Controller / Head of Financial Control. Operating within a large and complex international environment, the successful candidate will provide senior-level leadership across the Group’s controlling function, with a strong focus on financial performance, reporting and business insight. The expectation is that the majority of the week will be spent within the HQ in Germany.

The Role

The successful candidate will work closely with senior finance and operational leadership, taking responsibility for areas including:

• Group financial controlling and performance management
• Management reporting and analysis
• Driving consistency and rigour across financial processes and controls
• Supporting senior leadership with high-quality financial insight
• Working across an international and operationally complex organisation
• Supporting wider transformation and value-creation initiatives

Candidate Profile

We are looking for an established senior finance leader with:

• Significant Group Controlling / Financial Controlling experience
• Experience within a large, multi-billion euro/GBP international organisation
• A strong background in industrial, engineering, manufacturing or industrial technology environments
• Previous exposure to PE-backed, transformation or high-change environments
• The credibility to operate with senior executives and stakeholders
• Fluent German is preferable and fluent English is essential
