Interim Quality Manager

For an established German automotive supplier specialising in high-performance plastic components and systems, we are looking for an experienced Interim Quality Manager to support a major restructuring and quality stabilisation programme.

The company is currently undergoing a challenging operational restructuring and requires strong interim support in quality management. The Interim Quality Manager will be responsible for stabilising quality performance, managing critical customer topics, strengthening the quality organisation and implementing sustainable corrective measures across the plant.

Requirements:

• At least 3-5 successfully completed interim mandates in automotive turnaround, plant restructuring or crisis management
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive plastics , including injection molding, automated component assembly and surface finishing
• Certified VDA 6.3 Process Auditor
• Deep knowledge of IATF 16949 and automotive customer requirements
• Strong experience in OEM escalations, customer complaints and critical quality situations
• Fluent German at C1 level - essential
• Fluent English at B2/C1 level
• Highly stress-resistant, diplomatic and assertive personality
• Excellent project management, implementation and execution skills
• Hands-on approach and ability to deliver results under time pressure
