Allianz Technology's Global Insurance Procurement team plays a crucial role in supporting Allianz’s core business, including in the area of claims management. We conduct strategic negotiations with claims service providers and conclude corresponding contracts with selected service providers. Our goal is to identify first‑class partners through local and international tenders, who can provide us and our customers with the best possible support in motor claims, property insurance, and other important claims areas, thereby adding value for our customers and the Allianz Group.
About the Internship
As an intern, you will become part of a dynamic international team and work on various procurement projects with different service providers, departments, and Allianz country subsidiaries. You will help identify suitable providers and contribute to initiatives that promote customer satisfaction for Allianz.
What You Do
- Support purchasing processes, from provider identification to contract arrangements.
- Collaborate with senior buyers and attend meetings with stakeholders and providers.
- Draft, edit, and evaluate tenders.
- Assist in negotiating technology solutions with global corporations and start‑ups.
- Contribute to the implementation of a global Insurance Procurement Community within Allianz.
What You Bring
- Pursuing studies in business administration or industrial engineering, with a focus on supply chain management.
- Fluent in English and good proficiency in German; other languages are a plus.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Independent working style and team collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Previous internship experience, preferably in management consultancy, is appreciated.
- Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
- You can start from August 1st and are interested in an internship for 6 months in full‑time (38 h/week).

- Internship and working student positions require enrollment in a university or, for an internship, a gap year.
