Intern Product Specialist, Multi Asset

Responsibilities

• Support automation efforts in the Multi Asset Product Specialist team
• Build expert knowledge of products, investment process, philosophy and AllianzGI’s investment style and communicate this to European Sales teams and distribution partners
• Originate product information tailored to the needs of retail investors, focusing on investment process, performance explanation, portfolio holdings and investment case illustration
• Actively write and articulate portfolio-relevant commentaries to support product presentations for sales and marketing colleagues
• Deliver portfolio and investment strategy-related content to the RFP team and client service entities
• Stay up to date on strategy performance in the context of relevant competitor products and explain performance scenarios relative to the market environment and peers
• Participate in product development initiatives related to AllianzGI product solutions for the strategies under coverage

Requirements

• Student in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or a similar field of study
• Experience and passion for programming (Python)
• Generally IT literate with strong working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• Experience in asset management-related topics is advantageous
• Entrepreneurial and organized personality with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences and clearly articulate investment content
• Proactive mindset with strong client focus and responsivenessStrong written and verbal command of English; knowledge of German, French, Italian or Spanish is a plus
• Ability to use Microsoft Copilot, with a strong commitment to ethical and responsible AI practices.
