The Delaware Department of Justice Civil Division seeks a Deputy State Solicitor to serve as one of two Assistant Division Heads in the Civil Division, reporting directly to the State Solicitor. This position, located in Kent County, represents the Department of Justice in court proceedings, meetings, and boards across all three counties, and supervises Unit Heads while managing complex legal matters and divisional operations. The successful candidate will have substantial experience managing attorneys, advanced knowledge of civil law and state government, and the ability to identify and resolve potential legal issues for state agency clients.
