Internal Strategic Consulting Chief Expert (f/m/d) Industry AI

In this role you shape the strategic direction of SAP Industry AI, turning market and tech insights into actionable recommendations. You will advise senior stakeholders, translate analysis into clear narratives, and help align decisions across functions. You’ll operate in a fast-moving context, turning ambiguity into concrete strategy and external messaging. This role offers impact at scale within a mission-driven AI transformation for industry solutions.

• Track and synthesize Industry AI strategy inputs and distil insights
• Produce high-quality strategy documents and executive materials
• Advise on portfolio governance and prioritisation across Industry Domains
• Consult on transforming Industry Solutions into Industry AI models
• Support Build/Buy/Partner strategy with structured assessments
• Provide strategic input to government and regulatory initiatives
• Represent Industry AI strategy externally in customer and industry forums
• Act as a strategic sparring partner to cross-functional stakeholders

• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
• Excellent written communication for diverse audiences
• Deep knowledge of one or more major industries (Manufacturing, Retail, Energy, Financial Services, etc.)
• Established industry network across customers, partners, analysts, or academia
• Ability to present strategy to senior audiences and act as a spokesperson
• Background in corporate strategy, management consulting, or strategy-focused roles in enterprise software/tech
• Collaborative mindset and ability to advise without formal authority
• University degree with 8+ years of relevant experience; focus on strategy/analysis/advisory in tech or software
• Fluent English; German beneficial
