Internship Software Development Team for Medical Robotic Systems (f/m/x)

Job Overview

ZEISS has over 100 years of experience driving innovation in ophthalmology and microsurgery. The position is part of an interdisciplinary team developing robotic solutions in medical technology.

Responsibilities

• Support software project management and general project activities; depending on experience may act as a Scrum Master.
• Provide software systems engineering support, including creating requirements and documentation.
• Set up and maintain software and hardware test environments and execute tests.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in computer science, robotics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field.
• Enjoys organizational tasks and getting things done.
• Independent, detail‑oriented, strong hands‑on mentality, and team player.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Available for a 6‑month period.
• Experience with agile software development, including processes and tools such as Azure DevOps, is a plus.
• Familiarity with software technologies such as C++ and Linux is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and interest in understanding complex technical systems.
