Investment Associate | Infrastructure

Our client, a well-established and leading independent infrastructure fund is looking for an Associate to join their growing team in Munich

Responsibilities:

• Support the end-to-end due diligence process for equity co-investments and secondary transactions.
• Build and maintain complex financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and portfolio performance.
• Draft high-quality investment memorandums and present findings to the internal committee.
• Proactively screen the market for new opportunities and participate in manager/portfolio company meetings.
• Monitor existing investments, prepare regular performance updates, and support strategic value-creation initiatives.

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of high-deal-flow experience specifically from a Bulge Bracket Investment Bank, Elite Boutique, or a reputable Infrastructure/PE fund.
• Native-level German speaker with business-level fluency in English is mandatory.
• Exceptional financial modeling and valuation skills (LBO, DCF) with a strong attention to detail.
• Outstanding academic record with a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field from a top-tier university.
• A self-starter with a strong interest in the infrastructure asset class and the ability to thrive in a high-performance, collaborative environment.
