Investment Manager, Financial Assets Alternatives - Private Debt Investments (m/f/d)*

In this role you will lead the private credit asset class within the Alternative Investments area, shaping strategy and execution for a global portfolio. You will collaborate with senior managers and stakeholders to develop market-driven views and advance quantitative tools that support portfolio steering. You will also participate in private equity work and act as a bridge between quantitative topics and market insights. • Lead the private credit asset class, executing portfolio build-up and strategy evolution across the full credit spectrum
• Act as second lead for the private equity asset class
• Develop portfolio strategy through market research, deep-dives, opportunity identification, and risk assessments
• Own end-to-end investment process for private credit/equity funds, coordinating opportunity assessment, due diligence, and investment structuring
• Enhance the quantitative tool landscape for planning, steering, and monitoring of the alternatives portfolio
• Serve as a bridge between quantitative work and market topics, owning data-related responsibilities
• Prepare investment decisions for top management and the Alternative Investment Committee (AIIC)

• Master’s degree
• Experience in private credit or similar asset classes
• Familiarity with single deal analysis, credit risk analysis, credit modeling, and private equity
• Knowledge of other financial asset classes such as private equity funds
• Strong macroeconomic, strategic, and technical credit/risk understanding, and financial mathematics
• Strong programming skills in Python; familiarity with Databricks and Power BI
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking; ability to work under pressure in a demanding fund deployment cycle
• High self-motivation, creativity, problem-solving, team orientation, and willingness to support colleagues across assets
• Strong stakeholder management and team-oriented communication; fluent in English; German a plus
