IT Administrator – IT Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and administration of our ERP system
• Ongoing maintenance and further development of our technical infrastructure in collaboration with an external service provider
• Commissioning, configuration, setup and maintenance of server and client hardware, including documentation
• Installation and maintenance of standard and specialized software
• Participation in IT system administration and support, and management of network infrastructure
• End‑user support / 1st‑level support
• Problem analysis and independent development of efficient solutions

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in the IT field or an equivalent qualification
• Solid knowledge of server and network technologies
• Knowledge of firewalls, routers, switching, SAN, VPN, virtualization, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and administration of Windows‑based servers
• Experience administering Windows and Linux server environments is an advantage
• Ability to learn quickly and strong analytical skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Valid driver's license (Class B)
• Willingness to travel occasionally between the Sassenberg and Saalfeld/Saale sites (approx. 5–10%)
