IT Administrator (m/f/d) with a focus on AI development

The Freiberg Housing Cooperative eG is not only a company that has been firmly established in Freiberg for 75 years; we are also a pioneer in digitalization within the housing industry. We are constantly seeking optimized approaches that provide flexibility and make daily work easier for our tenants as customers, as well as for our employees.

To support our innovative digitalization efforts, we are looking for an IT Administrator (m/f/d) who, in addition to ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, will actively shape and further develop the field of artificial intelligence in particular.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administration, support, and further development of our IT system landscape (Microsoft 365, ERP system, network and server infrastructure),
• Development, integration, and maintenance of AI-based solutions to optimize internal processes and support our paperless office,
• Automation of recurring processes (e.g., via AI, workflows, scripting)
• Supporting and advising employees on IT questions, software solutions, and MS Office applications,
• Ensuring data protection, IT security, and compliance,
• Collaboration on digitization and innovation projects as well as independent implementation of sub-projects.

YOUR PROFILE

• Technical: Solid technical expertise in IT infrastructure, networking, Microsoft systems, and software administration. Experience with or strong interest in AI technologies, e.g., machine learning, automation, data processing, and AI-powered assistance tools. Knowledge of project management and the implementation of new technologies. A completed degree (in computer science or similar), training as an IT specialist, or demonstrable professional experience—motivated career changers are also welcome.
• Personal: Strong communication skills and a passion for working with people. A strong sense of responsibility and a hands-on mentality. Curiosity, a spirit of innovation, and a desire to apply future technologies in a practical way.
