IT Analyst / Technical Business Analyst in Dresden

Andersen is hiring an IT Analyst / Technical Business Analyst in Dresden for a project enhancing software security, compliance, and governance in the healthcare sector. The customer is a large organization operating in the healthcare domain and working with an extensive network of service providers. It supports the coordination of services, oversees quality and compliance processes, and drives the modernization of information systems. The organization focuses on improving operational efficiency, ensuring sustainable service delivery, and supporting long-term development initiatives aimed at broad accessibility.

The project is focused on assessing custom software solutions against BSI TR-03161 requirements, with an emphasis on software architecture, interfaces, dependencies, security, and delivery processes. It includes technical documentation review, gap analysis, audit support, and governance improvements to ensure secure and compliant software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, maintaining, and aligning technical documentation for software applications under assessment.
• Analyzing and documenting complex software systems, software architectures, interfaces, dependencies, and data flows.
• Reviewing development processes, security requirements, and build, release, and deployment procedures.
• Supporting software assessments based on BSI TR-03161 and comparable security requirements.
• Preparing technical evidence, assessment artifacts, and audit-ready documentation.
• Identifying documentation and process gaps and coordinating remediation activities with relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborating with auditors, developers, system administrators, and business representatives during assessment and review activities.
• Capturing, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements.
• Creating technical concepts and supporting materials for software assessment and development initiatives.
• Analyzing and structuring existing technical documentation to ensure completeness and consistency.
• Supporting the analysis and coordination of custom software development projects when required.
• Utilizing SQL and relational database knowledge to support system analysis activities.
• Working with collaboration and ticketing tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Must-haves

• Experienced IT Analyst with a strong background in analyzing and documenting complex software systems for 3+ years.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, APIs, interfaces, system dependencies, and data flows.
• Experience with BSI TR-03161 or comparable software security and compliance standards.
• Strong knowledge of Secure Software Development and Application Security principles.
• Practical experience with build, release, and deployment processes.
• Proven ability to create technical concepts, assessment documentation, and auditable evidence packages.
• Strong requirements engineering, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Experience coordinating with auditors, developers, system administrators, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, moderation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to quickly understand complex systems and technical environments.
• Experience with SQL and relational database systems.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, or comparable collaboration and ticketing platforms.
• Able to work independently while effectively collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
• Available to work primarily on-site in Dresden, with partial remote work possible after onboarding and agreement.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
• Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
