Munich, Germany | Fluent German and English required - 3 days in office policy.

Our client is an established global FMCG group with a significant presence across multiple international markets, serving customers in the consumer, retail and food markets. Combining large-scale manufacturing with a strong focus on innovation and sustainability, the business is entering a new chapter as it reshapes its organisation around its key markets.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Country IT Manager to run a multi-country IT function. With full accountability, you will own both the commercial and technical agenda across business applications and local IT services.

This is an exciting time to join as the group's IT function is moving to a true business partner role that leads the technology agenda and drives growth. The IT Country Manager is central to that change, acting as a partner to the local leadership teams across the cluster and working closely with global and regional IT.

KPIS

• Translate business priorities into an IT roadmap, supporting commercial, supply chain and corporate functions.
• Lead local technology projects and support international implementations, driving adoption and measurable business value.
• Own local IT budgets, supplier relationships and contract negotiations within the wider group framework.
• Oversee local applications and service performance, ensuring alignment with global standards.
• Support technology integration following acquisitions.

Candidate Profile

The company is seeking a proven IT business partner with experience managing technology projects, IT budgets and supplier relationships within an international organisation.

Successful candidates typically demonstrate:

• IT experience, including years in IT business partnering, ideally within FMCG, pharma or IT consulting.
• Commercially minded , with the ability to translate business priorities into technology investments that support revenue growth, margins and operational efficiency.
• Experience delivering sales and marketing technology solutions, such as CRM, sales force automation and trade promotion management, alongside SAP/ERP experience . Exposure to SAP sales and distribution applications is particularly relevant.
• Experience working across multiple markets within an international, matrix organisation, partnering confidently with senior business leaders.
• Strong project delivery and change management skills, including driving technology adoption and demonstrating return on investment.
• Experience managing IT budgets, suppliers and contract negotiations.
• Fluency in German and English, with willingness to travel across the assigned markets.
