IT License Manager

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for license management across the entire group; a license inventory/overview has already been built up in recent years
• Negotiations with software vendors and resellers
• Ongoing development and improvement of license management at flatexDEGIRO
• Migration project from FNT Command to Flexera, which is already licensed
• Strategic oversight of Microsoft licenses with regard to usage, compliance and pricing models – flatexDEGIRO SE operates a virtualized environment, which requires special attention for Microsoft licensing
• Interface role between IT operations, business units, enterprise architects and identity & access management
• Analysis of existing contracts and initiating required changes

Requirements

• Degree in Business Informatics or a comparable field, commercial vocational training, or job-related qualification
• Proven certification or completed further training as a Software Asset Manager / License Manager is desirable
• Experience in license management, especially with Flexera
• Experience with Microsoft licensing and contract models (E3, E5 and Windows Server)
• Familiarity with virtualization and the related licensing considerations
• Experience with Microsoft Office, ideally also with SAP S/4HANA Cloud and JIRA
• Very good (cross-functional) communication skills due to the interface role that requires extensive communication
• Experience in regulated environments and their impact on license and access management is desirable
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
