IT Operations Manager – IT Software Engineering (d/f/m)

For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS Defence and Space, we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH.

The position holder works as IT Operations Manager – IT Software Engineering.

Your Tasks

• Ensure the provisioning of new software packages and software upgrades
• Maintain the IT infrastructure in operational condition in line with OLA/SLA requirements
• Monitor and track system performance against agreed service-level agreements (SLAs)
• Communicate product improvements, updates and obsolescence management to the IT Product Manager
• Perform ITIL-based support processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration and Event Management
• Analyze console messages, diagnose system failures and implement corrective actions while coordinating with technical teams and vendors when required
• Identify and implement technologies and processes that improve the reliability, efficiency and availability of the systems environment

Your Profile

• Master’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
• At least 4 years of experience in IT / information systems
• Excellent knowledge of configuration management tools
• Proficient in Linux (server and workstation environments)
• Proficient in Windows (server and workstation environments)
• Experience with tools such as Redmine, Sapienza Eclipse, Subversion, GitLab, Jira or Confluence is an advantage
• Fluent German and English (negotiation level)
