IT operator TAP M/F

We are looking for an IT Operator for one of our clients based in Luxembourg

• Freelance or permanent contract via payrolling company
• Strong knowledge required in Temenos Triple A Plus (AAA+) and iHub Reporting
• On-site presence required (with potential flexibility depending on operations)
• Fluent English required, French and/or German is a plus

Your responsibilities

Operations & Monitoring

• You will ensure the smooth execution of critical business processes and system interfaces across production environments
• You will monitor scheduled jobs, system queues, and integrations to guarantee system reliability
• You will support night batch operations and ensure successful completion of all batches
• You will execute daily, weekly, and monthly operational checklists to maintain operational integrity
• You will maintain production, UAT, and test environments

Incident & Service Management

• You will investigate, diagnose, and resolve incidents and service requests within defined timelines
• You will escalate unresolved issues appropriately and within agreed timeframes
• You will log incidents and service requests accurately following established procedures

Deployment & Continuous Improvement

• You will deploy artefacts across production and test environments
• You will identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency
• You will contribute to maintaining high availability and performance of critical applications

Reporting & Documentation

• You will produce operational reports and KPIs to support transparency and decision-making
• You will create and maintain technical support documentation

Profile

• You are experienced with Temenos Triple A Plus (AAA+) and iHub Reporting
• You are comfortable working with system interfaces, batch processing, and reconciliation processes in complex environments
• You are knowledgeable in Sybase databases, including querying and performance troubleshooting
• You are proficient with Linux systems, shell scripting, and job automation tools such as Automic UC4
• You are familiar with private banking operations including portfolios, trades, and settlements
• You are skilled in monitoring critical systems and ensuring their availability and performance
• You are effective at debugging and resolving issues in production environments
• You are capable of producing clear technical documentation
• You are fluent in English with strong communication skills across technical and business teams
• You are flexible to work outside standard hours, including shifts and weekends when required
• You are comfortable interacting with customers and maintaining strong service quality
• You are an effective communicator, both written and spoken
