IT / Platform Engineer – AI Agents, Knowledge Platform & FinTech/RegTech Solutions

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IT / Platform Engineer to contribute to the development of an AI-Agent platform and a knowledge platform dedicated to European financial services innovation .

The platform will support the analysis and structuring of European business cases, emerging business models, and innovative financial services initiatives , while also enabling the evaluation of FinTech and RegTech solutions .

The role combines technology architecture, platform engineering, and innovation analysis , contributing to the creation of a digital environment where AI agents, knowledge systems, and financial technology solutions can be developed, tested, and validated .

This position is part of a small and dynamic team working on future-oriented financial services initiatives across the European market .

Key Responsibilities

AI-Agent Platform Development

• Contribute to the design and development of an AI-Agent platform supporting regulatory analysis, financial knowledge processing, and automation of research tasks.
• Design scalable architectures allowing AI agents to access, process, and structure financial and regulatory information .
• Ensure the platform is secure, scalable, and robust .

Knowledge Platform for European Business Cases

• Develop and maintain a knowledge platform documenting European financial services business cases and innovative business models .
• Structure and integrate information related to new financial services initiatives, regulatory developments, and technological innovation across Europe .
• Enable AI-driven exploration and analysis of emerging financial business models and market developments .
• Ensure efficient data management and knowledge organization within the platform.

FinTech & RegTech Technology Evaluation

• Analyze and evaluate FinTech and RegTech solutions .
• Support the technical validation and testing of third-party technologies .
• Monitor developments in AI, FinTech, RegTech, and digital financial infrastructures .

Platform Architecture & Infrastructure

• Design and manage cloud-based infrastructure supporting platform scalability and performance.
• Implement and maintain containerized environments and orchestration platforms using Kubernetes (mandatory) .
• Contribute to the overall technology architecture and system design .
• Ensure best practices in security, reliability, and system performance .

Working Environment

• Work as part of a small, agile, and highly motivated team focused on financial innovation.
• Contribute to the development of technology platforms combining AI, financial regulation, and innovative business models .
• Participate in initiatives exploring future financial services across the European market .

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field .
• 5–10 years of professional experience in technology roles within:
• FinTech or RegTech companies, or
• financial institutions, or
• technology companies working with financial services.

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure and cloud-native architectures .
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (mandatory) .
• Experience with container technologies and orchestration platforms .
• Experience building data or knowledge platforms .
• Knowledge of API-based architectures and modern platform development .
• Familiarity with AI tools, automation technologies, or knowledge management systems is a strong advantage.
