IT Service Engineer (Cloud) (all genders welcome)

In this role you will design, build, and operate the core cloud infrastructure at ROSEN, leveraging Azure and IaC to support a cloud-native, AI-driven platform for pipeline integrity analysis. You will integrate cloud services into the developer platform and practice FinOps to optimize cost efficiency. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to secure and network the cloud estate while enabling scalable CI/CD pipelines. This is a hands-on, impact-focused position in a strategic digital transformation initiative that aims to improve efficiency and customer outcomes.

• Design, set up, and operate the core cloud infrastructure
• Integrate cloud services into the developer platform with FinOps considerations
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, OpenTofu and Crossplane
• Utilize Azure cloud services effectively
• Develop and maintain Python and Go scripts/apps
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD and Azure Pipelines
• Implement FinOps tooling
• Ensure cloud security and networking

• Degree in software engineering, computer science, or related technical field
• 3+ years experience with IaC tools, especially Terraform
• Proficiency in Azure Cloud services
• Programming/scripting in Python and Go
• Experience with CI/CD tools including ArgoCD and Azure Pipelines
• Knowledge of FinOps tools
• Strong security best practices and networking understanding
• AZ104 certification (beneficial)
