Your Tasks

Strategy and Building the Department

• Setting up and structuring a future-proof internal IT department.
• Interface management and close coordination with internal and external partners for IT hardware, networks, servers and CAD/CAM software.

System Optimisation (proAlpha, DMS and CRM)

• Full responsibility for the administration, maintenance and support of the core systems (ERP, DMS, CRM) based on proAlpha.
• Process analysis: Continuous analysis and optimisation of workflows and interfaces between ERP, DMS and CRM.
• Exploiting potential: Reviewing existing proAlpha structures, identifying untapped potential and implementing concrete improvements.
• Project management for system updates, migrations and software integrations in cooperation with the specialist departments.

AI Infrastructure and Process Automation

• Architecture and guidelines: Building a modern AI infrastructure, defining the system architecture and establishing platform guidelines.
• AI integration at KAMAT: Developing a deep understanding of internal KAMAT processes (e.g. in shipping, production, programming, design, sales) in order to streamline processes through the targeted use of AI.
• Modelling: Implementing, monitoring and continuously adapting automation rules and AI models.
• Innovation management: Analysing and implementing AI suggestions from the workforce.

Training, Support and Compliance

• User training: Designing and delivering training sessions to bring the workforce along in using ERP and AI tools.
• Compliance: Ensuring data security and compliance with legal requirements (e.g. GDPR) across all IT, ERP and AI environments.

Your Profile

• Professional experience: Several years of solid experience in IT or IT project management – this is not an entry-level position.
• System expertise: In-depth, hands-on knowledge of administering and optimising proAlpha (ERP, DMS, CRM) is essential. For us, practical experience beats any academic title.
• AI competence: Practical experience in building AI infrastructures and implementing automation and AI models in medium-sized companies.
• Working style: You work in a highly independent, self-reliant and solution-oriented way.
• Personality: You are absolutely trustworthy, as you work with sensitive company and system data.
• Soft skills: You are communicative and open-minded and see yourself as a team player who builds bridges between IT and the specialist departments (design, sales, production).
