ENGINEERING MANAGER WEB (m/w/d)

Would you like to work in the heart of Berlin or in Germany’s sunniest city? For our international web development team, primarily based in Freiburg, we are looking for you as a Engineering Manager Web (m/w/d) to start as soon as possible or by agreement, full-time.

Interhome is currently transforming from a traditional company — one that pioneered its own website back in the 1990s — into a continuously innovating technology company. In this role, you will help foster a strong tech culture within our existing teams, elevate the skills of our developers, and drive the evolution of exciting products.

Your Qualifications

• A university degree or equivalent qualification in computer science or a comparable field
• Extensive experience in software development as well as in leading tech teams
• A passion for taking ownership and continuously developing yourself and your teams
• Openness to travel between Berlin, Freiburg, and Zurich
• Business-fluent in English and German
• You enjoy working in an international, cross-functional team with diverse strengths and experience levels

Your Responsibilities

• As Engineering Manager for the web area, you play a key role in driving technical development and aligning our three web development teams.
• You report directly to the CTO and work closely with our three Product Owners, who currently lead these teams.
• You lead and develop a team of software engineers and designers, manage agile workflows across the teams, strengthen internal collaboration, and are responsible for the teams’ delivery.
• You work closely with the Product Owners. They handle prioritization and stakeholder alignment, while you and your teams are responsible for estimation and delivery.
