As an Italian-speaking Collection Specialist (f/m/d), you'll be the first point of contact for consumers, clients, and third parties for the Italian market from our HQ in Berlin. Working across multiple channels, you'll provide accurate information, resolve issues collaboratively, and document interactions in our CRM. You'll also spot patterns that help us improve our service continuously and work with AI-enabled tools to stay compliant and maintain high standards. Your Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming inquiries from clients, consumers, and third parties (e.g. lawyers) in Italian across multiple communication channels
• Provide clear, accurate information about accounts and ongoing processes
• Document all customer interactions accurately in our CRM system
• Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to resolve customer issues efficiently
• Flag recurring issues and contribute to the continuous improvement of our service processes
• Use AI-enabled tools and internal platforms to maintain high service quality
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, data protection requirements, and applicable regulations

What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

• Fluent in Italian and English, written and spoken, at a professional level
• Experience in a customer service or support role
• A clear, empathetic communication style and strong interpersonal skills
• Comfort with digital tools and AI-assisted platforms, and the ability to adapt quickly to new systems
• Hands-on experience with ticketing systems or CRM platforms such as Zendesk
• Strong organisational skills and a sharp eye for detail
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach

Nice-to-haves:

• Background in collections, debt recovery, or financial services
• Proficiency in additional languages such as Spanish and/or German

Our offer for you:

• For a junior level role, our salary band is €32,000 - €35,000 gross per year and for a mid-level role, our salary band is €36,000 - €44.500 gross per year (based on a 40-hour work week). The exact offer will reflect your experience and qualifications.

• Step 2: Diving deeper: Online interview with Marco, Team Lead Collection, and one of your potential team members (1 hour). We'll explore your experience and the role in more detail.
