About the job

Trade Finance and Lending (TF&L) is core and one of the leading business departments in Corporate Bank, working with clients around the globe. Trade Finance is a set of techniques aimed at mitigating and transferring trade risks to the financial sector, and/or using bank funding to enable domestic and international trade flows. Trade finance focuses on supporting the physical flow of goods across borders while primarily using the goods, receivables and cash generated from the trade as the principal security. The group is working on technology refresh of their IT platform to enable new services and products for customers as well as to achieve the next level of business processes automation and reduce transaction costs. We are building a successful in-house technology team designing, building, and rolling out into production its strategic platform for TF&L business. The architecture covers a wide range of capabilities to support global TF&L business including but not limited to loan lifecycle management, collateral management, and related integrations with Cash, Treasury, Risk, and Finance landscape.

As a Java developer (f/m/x) you will contribute to business logic design and implementation and all other stages of the agile delivery pipeline: specification, automated testing, and level 3 production support. We value high-quality code and thorough testing, using code static analysis tools and robust testing practices. We are looking for self-driven engineers who will strengthen our team with their vision and experience.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Write clean, testable code and maintain automated testing coverage
• Collaborate with other software developers, product managers and stakeholders to ensure quality and consistency of core functionality and APIs; work with Functional Analysts and Business Partners on functional and non-functional requirements
• Coding and automated testing, collaboration with QA engineers on test automation framework

Your Skills And Experiences

• Good math and algorithms; good problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge of Core Java (8,11), Spring framework, SQL (Oracle is a plus)
• Knowledge of JUnit and Cucumber to contribute to platform test automation
• User-level knowledge of Linux
• Fluent English verbal and written
