We currently need a Senior Digital Strategist to join our team in Berlin, working on innovative B2C and B2B marketing activities across the DACH region.

WongDoody is a creative technology agency with 30 years of experience, 2 000 designers and innovators, and 20 design studios worldwide. We develop intelligent marketing and experiences for brands, with a strong focus on retail and FMCG.

Retail & CPG Vertical

We partner with major brands such as OTTO, bonprix, Rolf Benz and Avène to create brand strategies, customer‑centric campaigns and digital products that blend creation, data and media.

What You Can Expect

• Develop sophisticated strategic concepts and cross‑channel communication experiences.
• Create data‑driven analyses and research for a strong strategic foundation.
• Craft insight‑based creative briefs with clear goals and client‑strategy documents.
• Identify innovative business areas, trends, and technologies and advise clients.
• Lead strategic content on projects, present to and consult with clients.
• Design and facilitate strategy and creative workshops.
• Ensure on‑brief creative quality while meeting timing and budget constraints.
• Collaborate with creation and performance teams to enhance digital marketing content.
• Test and evaluate new marketing channels and advertising formats.
• Stay updated with latest digital marketing trends, evaluate new technologies and integrate them into strategies.
• Experiment with AI tools and technologies to deliver innovative solutions.
• Manage relationships with external partners and vendors.
• Mentor junior team members.

What We'd Love To See

• At least 5 years of experience in strategic planning at a creative agency.
• Expertise in B2C marketing, FMCG and retail communication; e‑commerce and CRM a plus.
• Data‑driven, user‑centric mindset.
• Passion for conceptual ideas and digital ecosystems.
• Proven track record of effective brand and communication strategies that deliver results.
• Digital‑first strategic thinking with deep understanding of consumer‑brand challenges.
• Experience with AI tools in marketing.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Positive, proactive attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in both German and English.
