Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in designing and developing our innovative hot dog vending machine The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design experience in the vending machine or food industry and the ability to provide support in the electrical aspects of the machine Proficiency in SolidWorks is essential as you will be responsible for designing new components overseeing manufacturing conducting hands‑on testing and collaborating with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for the hot dog vending machine using SolidWorks
• Leverage experience in the vending machine or food industry to provide insights and optimize the design for efficient operation food safety and maintenance
• Conduct feasibility studies analyze design options and propose cost-effective solutions for enhanced performance and efficiency
• Generate detailed engineering drawings specifications and documentation for the manufacturing and assembly processes
• Oversee prototype fabrication and testing including hands‑on assembly installation and troubleshooting
• Perform rigorous testing and analysis to validate the functionality durability and safety of the hot dog vending machine
• Identify and address design issues implement improvements and optimize the overall performance of the machine
• Provide support and collaborate with electrical engineers in the development and integration of electrical components and systems

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Advanced degree is a plus
• 4+ years of experience in mechanical design with specific experience in the vending machine or food industry being a strong plus
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles including structural analysis materials science and thermodynamics
• Hands‑on experience with prototype development assembly and testing
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and ability to collaborate with suppliers and vendors
• Experience or knowledge in electrical engineering and the ability to provide support in electrical aspects of the machine
