Junior Anaplan Model Builder (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Support the design, build, testing, deployment, and maintenance of Anaplan models
• Develop and enhance modules, lists, line items, dashboards, UX pages, actions, imports, exports, and calculations
• Apply best practices for scalability, performance, and maintainability
• Assist in translating business requirements into Anaplan technical designs
• Support model updates, structural changes, data loads, and ongoing enhancements
• Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution documentation
• Provide support during user acceptance testing, issue resolution, and post‑go‑live activities
• Act as first point of contact for Anaplan user queries and support requests
• Support Anaplan solutions related to real‑estate investment planning, fund planning, asset‑level forecasting, portfolio reporting, budgeting, valuation support, and performance analysis
• Support data imports and exports between Anaplan and source systems such as ERP, data warehouses, Excel, or reporting platforms
• Maintain functional and technical documentation for Anaplan models and enhancements
• Support change management, release management, and testing documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including exploring AI use cases and automation opportunities
• Stay current with Anaplan platform capabilities, new features, and best practices

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Anaplan model building and development
• Anaplan Level 3 certification expected or willingness to acquire it; an Anaplan Solution Architect certification is a plus
• Experience in real‑estate investment management, asset management, fund management, or finance functions desirable
• Good understanding of planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work with complex data structures and business logic
• High attention to detail and quality
• Strong communication skills with technical and business stakeholders
• Experience with Agile delivery methods
• Fluency in English; German is a plus, both written and spoken
• Based in or willing to work from Frankfurt am Main
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Real Estate, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience may also be considered
