Junior Buyer (m/f/d)

JOIN OUR TEAM

As a Junior Buyer , you will join a high‑performing team to support product development and internal production matters within Westwing’s furniture category. You will contribute to the end‑to‑end buying process, gaining hands‑on experience in supplier management, product development, and procurement. Working closely with our Creative, Quality, Supply Chain Management, and Merchandising teams, you will help bring inspiring products to life while supporting commercial decisions and ensuring alignment with our compliance and sustainability standards. This position is permanent and located in Munich .

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Support the sourcing and onboarding of new suppliers
• Drive the product development processes in collaboration with internal and external partners
• Support price negotiations and commercial evaluations
• Manage order placement, tracking, and procurement activities, and ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations, including sustainability targets
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure product quality and timely delivery
• Leverage AI and automation tools to optimise procurement workflows

YOU COME WITH

• A Bachelor's degree in Business or another relevant field, and first experience in e.g. Buying, Sourcing or Procurement
• Initial exposure to negotiation or a strong interest in developing negotiation skills
• Strong interest in furniture, design, and Home & Living trends
• Good commercial understanding and analytical mindset with a proactive attitude, combined with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders
• Fluency in English; German skills are a plus
